Warranty terms 

During the Warranty Period, TECSA-I will provide Warranty Service, which may involve repairing or replacing the product or any defective parts, at the sole discretion of TECSA-I. If repair or replacement is not feasible or timely, TECSA-I reserves the right to offer a refund for the purchase price of the affected product. Unless otherwise specified by TECSA-I, the defective product must be returned to TECSA-I's warehouse before a replacement is shipped. It is important to note that any repair or replacement carried out under this warranty will not extend or recommence the original Warranty Period.

TECSA-I is committed to reducing environmental waste, and as part of this initiative, the product may consist of reconditioned equipment containing used components that have been reworked. These used components meet TECSA-I's high-quality standards and comply with the product's performance and reliability specifications. Any replaced parts or components will become the property of TECSA-I.

How to obtain Warranty Service

1. Contact the authorized reseller from whom you originally purchased the product. They will guide you through the warranty claim process and provide the necessary assistance.

2. Alternatively, you can visit our Support pages for additional information about the Warranty Service procedure.

Ensure the following information is ready for a smooth process:

- The defective product itself.

- Present proof of purchase, which should clearly indicate:

  - Name and address of the authorized reseller from where the product was purchased.

  - Date of purchase.

  - Product type or model.

 

Lastly, be prepared to provide a detailed reason for the return, explaining the specific issues or defects encountered with the product. This information will help expedite the warranty service and ensure that your concerns are properly addressed.

Warranty Limitation

The Warranty only applies to products purchased for use, not for commercial resale. It does not apply to open box purchases, which are sold “as is” and without any warranty.

Limited-life consumable components and accessories, that are subject to normal wear and tear, are exempt from the Warranty, unless they are found to be defective or broken upon purchase of the product. This includes among others:

Basic USB cords

Ear cushions

Ear gels

Ear hooks

Ear tips

Modular plugs

Cases/pouches

Adapters

Microphone windscreens

Decorative finishes

Removable batteries

Consumable components and accessories that malfunction within fourteen (14) days after they have been purchased are deemed to have been defective or broken upon purchase.

The warranty is invalid if the factory-applied serial number, date code label or product label have been altered or removed from the product.

The warranty does not cover defects or damages that result from: (a) improper storage, misuse or abuse, accident or neglect, such as physical damage (cracks, scratches, etc.) to the surface of the product resulting from misuse; (b) contact with liquid, water, rain, extreme humidity or heavy perspiration, sand, dirt or the like, extreme heat or food unless covered by the Limited Warranty; (c) use of the product or accessories for commercial purposes or subjecting the product or accessories to abnormal usage or conditions; or (d) other acts which are not the fault of TECSA-I, such as loss of headset/headphones or earbuds.

The Warranty does not cover damage due to improper operation, maintenance, installation, or attempted repair by anyone other than TECSA-I or a TECSA-I authorised reseller that is authorised to carry out TECSA-I warranty work. Any unauthorised repairs will void the Warranty. The Warranty does not cover defects or damages that result from the use of non-TECSA-I branded or certified products, accessories, or other peripheral equipment.

The Warranty does not apply to products that have not been charged for six (6) months. If the battery in a product has not been charged for a period of six (6) months, the product might not function or regain its full potential and long-term performance. TECSA-I does not offer any warranty for such performance.

The Warranty does not apply to products that have been lost and may not be located through the Find My Tecsa-i feature in the complimentary Tecsa-i Sound+/Tecsa-i Assist applications or Find My Headphones feature in the complimentary Tecsa-i Sport Life application.
